The SATO CL4-SXR is a next-generation 4-inch industrial label printer designed for high-volume, mission-critical labelling across manufacturing, logistics, retail and other demanding environments. Supporting both direct thermal and thermal transfer printing, the CL4-SXR combines high-speed printing with precise media handling and advanced sensor technology. Available in 203 dpi, 305 dpi and 609 dpi configurations, it provides up to 104 mm print width and print speeds of up to 18 ips on the 203 dpi model.

The SATO CL4-SXR is designed to maximise productivity and minimise downtime, with intelligent self-diagnostic capabilities, AI-powered predictive maintenance and remote management support through SATO Online Services. Standard connectivity includes Gigabit Ethernet, USB, NFC and RS232C, with optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. RFID models are also available, while support for a wide range of SATO printer emulations helps simplify integration into existing labelling systems.
