It features an 8" WXGA LED-backlit touch display (capacitive or resistive) with 400 or 900 nits for indoor and outdoor visibility, plus optional defroster support for freezer environments. Built on the Mobility Edge platform, it delivers long-term OS support and lower total cost of ownership. A 2.2 GHz Qualcomm 660 octa-core processor, 4 GB RAM, and 32 GB flash ensure responsive performance, while Wi-Fi 5 with 2x2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC provide stable connectivity. The smart dock enables hot-swapping between vehicles, supported by a built-in battery that maintains operation for up to 30 minutes. With MIL-STD-810F and IP66 protection, the VM1A withstands dust, water, impacts, and extreme temperatures from -30 °C to +50 °C, making it suitable for even the harshest working conditions.
