The Memor X3 Healthcare (HC) mobile computer is now available for hospitals or clinics where healthcare professionals can provide patients with a safe and easy way to scan bar codes.  The Memor HC mobile computer is lightweight, pocketable, and extremely durable for use in the healthcare industry.  Its chemical resistant plastics and enclosures are designed to withstand daily cleaning with harsh disinfectant solutions commonly used in hospitals and clinics. 

The Memor HC mobile computer is equipped with an advanced 2D area imager and features Datalogic’s patented ‘Green Spot’ technology for good-read feedback.  It also features a sharp 2.4 inch color display and long-lasting batteries.  It offers enhanced Wi-Fi connectivity with an IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n radio supporting higher WLAN throughputs and Bluetooth® wireless technology.

With measurements of just 15.6 x 5.7 cm and a weight of approximately 250 grams the Datalogic Memor X3 HC is no larger or heavier than a remote control. Despite this, the mini computer provides full functionality for mobile data capture in clinics, doctors' offices, laboratories and pharmacies. The integrated area imager allows for the simple capture of 2D barcodes. The patented Green Spot technology provides quick feedback upon a successful scan.

The fast XScale PXA310 processor with 806 MHz ensures for the necessary performance, plus 256 MB RAM and 512 MB Flash memory give extra security during the capture of patient and program data. As needed, the readily accessible SD card slot significantly increases memory. Via the Windows CE 6.0 Pro operating system you may install a wide variety of apps onto the device, for example, medication schedules or tracking programs for the laboratory. The wireless communication options (WLAN 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth Class 2) also make the Datalogic Memor X3 HC an ideal companion in the healthcare sector. This is further supported by its protection class IP54 rating and drop safety from 1.2 m.
