Zebra On-counter DS7708 Area Imager 2D Barcode Scanner
The on-counter area imager Zebra DS7708 offers rapid barcode recognition at both the sales desk and the sales counter. This professional scanner reliably recognizes nearly every 1D and 2D barcode (either printed or electronic), and also delivers exceptional results for difficult to read and damaged barcodes. With the newly developed swipe technology the imager even recognizes barcodes that pass through at an extremely fast rate of up to 254 mm/sec. This provides for maximum throughput at the highly frequented POS.
Yet it is its longevity that is the real highlight: thanks to its tactically placed free moving mechanics, downtimes are reduced to a minimum. An enhanced scratch-resistant scanning window lowers maintenance needs. An additional advantage: with the extra large scanning window it is the best in its class, significantly reducing time-consuming barcode alignment. Integration and handling is both simple and efficient. The USB port provides enough power to make the scanner fully operable without a power cable. Additional interfaces, such as USB, RS232, KBW and IBM are included, standard.
