It has a sleek, pocketable design, yet it is rugged enough for tough work environments with an IP67 rated design for protection from dust and water and the ability to withstand multiple 1.5m drops to concrete and 1,000 0.5m tumbles.
There is the ability to collect and process huge quantities of data, the CT50 is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 series quad-core processor, which is 25 to 50 percent faster and has 25 to 30 percent more battery life than the next best alternative. The powerful processor also gives mobile workers the freedom to use multiple applications quickly and reliably on a single device.
The next-generation 2D imager delivers best-in-class data capture performance on linear and 2D barcodes. An optional scan handle provides flexibility to switch between handheld and pistol grip operations to reduce user fatigue.
To ensure OS versatility and future proofing there is flexible support and migration on WE8.1H or Android 4.4 KitKat® now, and you can seamlessly upgrade as business needs grow later to Windows 10 or Android 5.0L.
To accompany the device, there is a full complement of docking systems and vehicle accessories to support scan intensive use cases and specialized activities such as mobile printing, and vehicle telemetry, which can be found in accessories.
