Datalogic QuickScan QD2131 1D Barcode Scanner - Linear Imager

The QuickScan reader series is Datalogic ADC's value line of general purpose handheld data collection products. The QuickScan QD2131 linear imaging reader is an affordable level product that is the ideal scanner for capturing 1D bar codes in most general purpose applications, such as POS, Entertainment, Hospitality, Transportation, Commercial Services, etc. The wide scanning angle and long scanning line is ideal for reading long bar codes that commonly appear on Utility Bills or documents and they are more intuitive for users to read bar codes from closer distances.

The QD2131 is small, lightweight and its ergonomic design is comfortable to use during daily operations. It offers an extra-wide field of view and an extra-long scan line, allowing users to read longer 1D linear bar codes from a closer distance. Currently, linear imagers are still used in a wide variety of applications including the paying of Utility Bills, Document Processing and Packaging.

Additionally, the QD2131 imager also features an extended depth of field (DOF) reading performance, allowing users to read bar codes from distances (for example, applications such as reading bar codes from the bottom of a basket in a supermarket application). The enhanced firmware also allows the user to read bar codes in a snappy fashion. A better ergonomic design provides the user with a very comfortable device in their hand even when used in scan-intensive applications.
