The auto-switch function enables switching between iOS mode and the standard Bluetooth mode.

This printer is designed with ease of use in mind and can be paired seamlessly with Bluetooth-enabled devices including iPhones, Androids, Symbian and Windows smartphones. You can connect the printer via USB 2.0 or serial cables, or opt for Bluetooth 3.0 or WLAN 802.11/b/g/n. The printer's rechargeable 2,850 mAh lithium-ion battery allows for extended use.
