The Datalogic PowerScan PM9600 has been developed with an ultra-rugged housing for the tough work environments of manufacturing, warehousing and logistics. It is IP65-/IP67-certified against dust and water and withstands multiple falls from up to 2.5 m without damage. For easy operation, it features a 1.8" OLED display with a 4- or 16-key keypad option. The ergonomic design and well-balanced weight also allow intuitive targeting with a high first read rate while reducing unnatural wrist movements.

Thanks to the Datalogic STAR Cordless system, the PM9600 is powered by a 3,350 mAh lithium-ion battery. This impresses with a long battery life and enables the capture of up to 80,000 scans per full battery charge. The wireless charging system is based on inductive charging technology and eliminates the need for battery contacts and pins, which get dirty, bend or even break over time. Also, the PM9600 modular base/charger is available with multiple interface connectors for standard and industrial communications, including RS-232, USB and various Ethernet protocols.
