The Datalogic PowerScan PBT9600-DPX is a rugged cordless industrial barcode scanner designed for direct part marking (DPM) and product traceability in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace and electronics environments. Its advanced 2D imaging technology reads directly marked codes on components and products, alongside conventional 1D and 2D barcodes. This makes it suitable for applications where labels may be impractical and accurate identification is essential for quality control, inventory tracking and production workflows.

Featuring Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, the PowerScan PBT9600-DPX supports wireless scanning with a range of up to 100 metres in open-air conditions when used with its base station. Its rugged housing provides IP67-rated protection and resistance to repeated drops from up to 2.5 metres at room temperature. A removable 3,350mAh battery supports over 80,000 scans per charge, while Datalogic's Green Spot, 3GL technology, audible signals and vibration provide clear scan confirmation. USB, RS-232 and Ethernet connectivity are available through compatible base stations and configurations.
