The Opticon L-22XS 2D barcode scanner is a high-speed cabled handheld scanner designed for retail, POS, healthcare, industrial and general barcode scanning applications. Its 2D CMOS imager scans at up to 120 frames per second, providing fast and accurate reading of a wide range of 1D and 2D barcodes, including QR Code, Data Matrix, PDF417, EAN, UPC and postal codes. With exceptional motion tolerance of up to 10 m/s, the L-22XS can quickly capture barcodes from moving items, while its enhanced optical system and decoding algorithms improve performance with curved, wide and poorly printed barcodes.

Designed for dependable everyday use, the Opticon L-22XS barcode scanner combines an ergonomic design with a 1.8m drop rating and IP42 protection against dust and moisture. Antimicrobial plastics are disinfectant-ready, making the scanner suitable for environments where regular cleaning and hygiene are important. Manual, auto-trigger and stand detection modes provide flexible operation, while USB connectivity is standard with optional RS232 available. The included desk stand also enables convenient hands-free scanning, and the L-22XS is backward compatible with the L-22X without requiring hardware or software changes.
