The Newland URF520 Solea is a high-performance UHF RFID reader designed for demanding retail, logistics, manufacturing and warehouse applications. Built around an Impinj E710 RFID engine, the Newland URF520 Solea i delivers read rates of up to 900 tags per second and a reading distance of more than 14 metres when paired with a suitable 8 dBi antenna. Supporting up to four external antennas, adjustable output power from 5 to 33 dBm and EPC C1 Gen2 / ISO 18000-6C, the Newland URF520 Solea i provides flexible and precise RFID coverage. With Ethernet, RS-232, RS-485 and USB connectivity, integrated GPIO, PoE/PoE+ support and an IP53-rated aluminium housing, it is well suited to high-throughput RFID applications including self-service checkout, portals and automated identification.
