Epson EB-685 Ultra-Short-Throw Projector
The Epson EB-685 range is designed for classrooms and training spaces that need a bright, large-format display without placing a projector in the middle of the room. Its ultra-short-throw optics create an image of up to 100 inches from close to the wall, reducing the shadows and glare that can interrupt teaching. WXGA resolution provides a widescreen workspace for lesson content and video, while 3,500 lumens of colour and white brightness and a 14,000:1 contrast ratio help text and graphics remain clear in everyday classroom lighting.
HDMI, VGA, USB and Ethernet connectivity allow the EB-685 to integrate with computers, document cameras and existing school networks. Split-screen projection can place two sources side by side, while moderator and network presentation tools support content sharing in collaborative lessons. A built-in 16W speaker provides strong classroom audio without a separate amplifier, and the side-access lamp and filter help simplify maintenance. The compact wall-mounted format also keeps desks and teaching areas clear of loose projector equipment and trailing cables.
