The HID Signo 20 T2 reader is a black contactless smart card reader for door access control using contactless cards, fobs or mobile credentials. This exact pigtail configuration uses the T2 high-frequency profile (13.56 MHz) and is designed for mullion-format surface or wall mounting. It supports cards, fobs and mobile credentials through Bluetooth Low Energy and NFC, including Apple Wallet via Enhanced Contactless Polling.
As a 13.56 MHz access control reader, it supports Seos, iCLASS SE, iCLASS, MIFARE DESFire EV1/EV2/EV3 and MIFARE Classic. Host communication uses OSDP or Wiegand, with native OSDP Secure Channel. This mullion smart card reader is rated IP65 and IK07, operates from 12 VDC at -35 to +66 degrees C and measures 45 x 121.5 x 19.5 mm. Configuration and firmware management are available through HID Reader Manager or OSDP.
