While the design and weight are similar to a consumer smartwatch, the WD1 is specifically designed for harsh working environments. With a 2.8” capacitive touch, Android 9 GMS, a 3.300 mAh battery, WiFi and 4G, it’s the perfect companion.
The WD1 touchscreen offers easy and fast input to navigate intuitively through applications. The re-mappable side button and shortcuts make the watch user-friendly and easy to operate. To complete a hands-free solution, via Newland’s EasyConnect software, you can easily pair the WD1 with other NWear devices, the WD2 and the WD3.

The scanner has a customizable side button and shortcuts for different functions making the WD1 convenient and user-friendly. Designed as any conventional smartwatch, the WD1 is familiar to use, simplifying staff training and making performing tasks more intuitive.

The WD1 is built to withstand dusty environments and inevitable bumps and drops. With an IP67 rating and highly protective Corning glass, the WD1 endures up to 1.2m drops. At the same time, WD1 can resist both hot and cold temperatures, operating under conditions from -20°C up to 50°C. This makes it usable in almost any work environment.
