Opticon's PHL5000 series is a range of compact and lightweight pocket PCs/PDAs equipped with Windows Mobile™ software. The 5000 Series from Opticon incorporates an integrated barcode laser scanner for accurate data entry, and uses the Intel Xscale™ processor running at 400MHz, to provide superior processing power and performance. 64MB RAM (Expandable via SD card slot) with 64MB Flash ROM is fitted as standard. External communications is provided for the PHL5000 series by IrDA, USB (via docking station) with wireless communications available via W-LAN: 802.11b, W-PAN: Bluetooth, GSM/GPRS (PHL5200/ 5300). The 5000 Series Pocket PCs from Opticon are supplied as a complete kit and includes PDA with built in laser engine, docking cradle with provision to charge spare battery, power supply, 1440 mAh Li-Ion battery pack and carrying pouch.
