11560 Opticon OPL 7836 Hand-Held Laser Barcode Scanner

Opticon's compact and lightweight OPL7836 barcode scanner is a gun shaped laser scanner designed for comfort and easy intuitive use. The manual trigger key of Opticon's OPL 7836 is activated by a single light touch, and the Good Read LED mounted on top of the scan head provides clear visual indication of successful operation.

For fast and accurate barcode scanning the OPL7836 from Opticon uses single line laser technology, enabling correct barcode scanning from a range of distances. This same technology allows scanning of barcodes of varying length by simply altering the distance from which the scanner is aimed at the barcode. Barcodes may also be read on slightly curved or uneven surfaces by Opticon's OPL 7836.

The OPL7836 barcode reader from Opticon is available with a range of built-in interfaces to allow direct connection to the host computer system; simply plug the scanner into the appropriate port on the computer! Interface options include PC Keyboard Wedge, RS232 and USB. The scanner may be extensively configured via a barcode Configuration Manual.
