CipherLab announced Laser Engine and Display upgrade for 8000 series Mobile Computer

Light-weighted in pocket size, the 8000 series mobile computer from CipherLab has been widely used for applications in retail, healthcare, and logistic industries. With versatile data transmission options ranging from batch, Bluetooth, to Wi-Fi, the 8000 series empowers users to manage their tasks more efficiently and work smarter.

With the good reputation and great popularity, CipherLab now further upgrade the performance of the 8000 series mobile computer with the new laser engine (SE950) and display.

The DOF of the new SE950 laser engine is extended for more than 40%, which enables longer range of reading in store and warehouse. Additionally, the display is improved with better contrast LCD and brighter backlit that provides clear reading.

The new laser engine is applied to the 8000 series starting series number EA6010671 for 8000, EF6018184 for 8001, EH 6000247 for 8061, and ET6001171 for 8071. The new laser engine will also be used for the Acoustic type very soon.

The new display has been adopted starting mid Nov. production. By the way, the battery connector is also renewed.
